Hyperpigmentation on Darker Skin:
It's normal to experience slight discoloration right after an electrolysis treatment, and this effect is only temporary.
If you've been tweezing the hair, the irritation from that can also lead to dark spots. These dark spots are a sign that your skin is healing and doing its job.

For those with lighter skin, this might resemble the temporary redness that can occur following treatments.

Rest assured that they will fade over time. It's best to avoid using bleaching cream on these areas, as this can result in light spots (hypopigmentation) once the skin returns to normal.
